THE PRACTICE

Our Practice

Dr. Todd is a board certified pediatrician who attended medical school and completed her residency in pediatrics in 1992 at OHSU in Portland, Oregon.  She has been in practice in Aloha, Oregon since 1992.  She is on staff at St. Vincent's Medical Center and Tuality Community Hospital.  Her practice is limited to newborns through age 19 years.

Dr. Todd no longer attends deliveries or sees patients in the hospital.  If you have a newborn, the doctor on call for he hospital will see your baby while you are in the hospital.  Please call our office to make an appointment for your baby to be seen in the office 1-3 days after discharge.

The Doctor

      Dr. Kathryn Todd, MD
            Pediatrician
Dr. Todd loves to laugh and often can be heard laughing in the office with the children (they really do say the funniest things!)

When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
She enjoys reading, knitting, cross stitching, beading, and painting.  She is a 3rd degree black belt in Tae KwonDo.

Appointments

We allow 30 minutes for well child appointments and 15-30 minutes for "sick" appointments.  We find this is plenty of time to answer all of your questions.  We allowing extra time between appointments to avoid meeting others in the waiting room.  We have plenty of same day appointments, but please call early in the day if you think you may need to be seen.

We understand how important your time is to you and we do our best to stay on schedule.  If you are late for your appointment, we will try to see your child, but it may be necessary to reschedule.  Rarely, an emergency occurs in the office and you may be asked to wait past your appointment time.

When an appointment is missed, that represents time when another child could not be seen.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call us within 24 hours.  We do not charge for missed appointments, however if you miss more than 2 appointments without sufficient notice, Dr. Todd may relinquish care of your children.

Immunizations

Dr. Todd believes that vaccines are both the safest and most effective means of keeping your child healthy and preventing disease.  We follow the standard schedule recommended by the ACIP and FAAP and encourage you to keep your child up to date on their vaccines.

thank you

for the honor of being your child's doctor.  Choosing a pediatrician can be a difficult thing.  You want to find someone who will listen to your concerns and who genuinely cares for your children. I love watching your family grow from babies to surly teenagers driving themselves into their own appointments.  I find it especially rewarding when they return later with their own new families.
